Lucifer is No Fallen Angel

Have you ever been told Satan is real? Where does that idea come from? When you boil down any one of the stories in religion about Satan, you will always find they all come from the story that Lucifer is a fallen angel. But maybe that is not the case when we look carefully at that story.

Well you deserve to know the facts. Is Lucifer an Angel? Did God kick his favourite creation out of Heaven so he could try to take over the world? This is not pinky and the brain here this is important stuff. Half the world thinks Satan is real and a good many of those let their lives and choices be guided by the idea that Satan and Hell await if they don't choose wisely.

This is the first installment in our "Did You Know" series. Stay tuned and soon you will be finding answers on your own and realizing that Satan doesn't exist. We will be offering the most clear and logical reasons, evidence, and answers to the twisted religious doctrine of Satan. If you don't care for reason and logic, then perhaps this is not for you, but if you are open to it--even just a little--we would love to have you stick around.

The entire topic of Lucifer's fall from heaven is dealt with in Chapter 8 of my first book, "Satan Christianity's Other God." Email me and I will send you that chapter right away. Don't hesitate to check out the amazing book "Imagine There's No Satan." You'll get many answers about Satan and about how he got into Christian thinking and the New Testament

Does Satan Have a Name?

What is a satan? If you were one of the writers of the Bible or one of the earliest hearers, you would know what a satan is. Whenever this word is used in the Hebrew language of the Scriptures, it does not refer to a literal personal devil. The word is sawtawn and it is not meant to be a name.

Finding out what a satan is in the Old Testament is the only way to know what satan is in the New. Don't be fooled by centuries of misinformed theologians. All we have to do is find out the meaning of the word that became a name for a mythical being of evil and destruction. There is no Satan and learning the true meaning of the word is just one more step in revealing the truth about religion's develish lie.

Is Satan God?

The idea Satan is real is one of the most protected doctrines of Christendom. But the Bible shows us there is no Satan, no Devil, and no Demons. We just have to look at the language and context of the writings.

Another clear example of this is found by looking at an ancient story of King David, documented by two biblical writers. One of them tells us God cause David to sin while the other tells us Satan caused David to sin. Can they both be right? or are they both wrong? Maybe we have misunderstood something.

This short video tells about this apparent contradiction in the Bible. Scholars and theologialns have failed to reconcile this but when you see how simple it is you will be laughing outloud. All we have to do is learn what the word Satan meant to the ancient writers....then the pieces start coming together on this ancient mis-understanding of what "a satan" is. And I don't need to tell you, the belief in a literal Satan has flourished for centuries in religion, so after we deal with this God Satan conundrum don't stop exploring because there are hundreds of pieces to this ancient puzzle that can be explained. Email me for a copy of my book that explains everything you ever wanted to know about why Satan and hell are not real but you were afraid to ask.

Who is the Anointed Cherub? - Part 1

Now that 's a question that has long been answered for us by Christendom. Or has it?

Should we accept that answer without exploring the question further? Is the anointed cherub Satan? Does the common doctrine of the anointed cherub being Satan, fit with what you'll find in the Bible? Does the word Satan even appear in the renowned Ezekiel 28 passage about an anointed cherub? Let's take a look at who and what the context is about. I think if we examine the idea and the context of that story, we will find the anointed cherub is not who we've been told he is by religion. Don't miss part two of this video where the tale unfolds to reveal the anointed cherub in all his glory.

Who is the Anointed Cherub? - Part 2

In Part 2 of this video, we point to the King of Tyre who was specifically called the anointed cherub. Does the common doctrine of the anointed cherub being Satan, fit with what you'll find in the Bible? When push comes to shove, there is no better way to find out what a bible passage is talking about than to uphold the context of the discussion. Seeing who is being spoken to can solve a lot of misunderstandings.

Does the word Satan even appear in the renowned Ezekiel 28 passage about an anointed cherub? Let's take a look at who and what the context is about. We could talk for days about this (feel free to email me for a free copy of this chapter in my book), but the next few minutes will deal with some of the highlighted reasons why the anointed cherub of Christendom is not a cosmic Satan. If you missed it, go watch Part 1 of this video to see how the anointed cherub sets up to be a man.

The Meaning of Satan

Millions of people all over the world believe in Satan. But is it possible they have made a mistake? You don't have to be a scholar to find out what the word sawtawn means. We have assumed the name Satan comes from a name for Satan but wait....the name satan comes from a word that was never intended to be a name. Listen in on this video to find out what "a satan" is. I guarantee, you won't see Satan the same when you find out that he was only made to be real by men with ideas that aren't found in the Bible.

Satan Identified!

One of them tells us God caused David to sin while the other tells us Satan caused David to sin. Can they both be right? And this then identifies the satan as God. Or are they both wrong? Maybe we have misunderstood something.

This short video tells about this apparent contradiction in the Bible. Scholars and theologians have failed to reconcile this but when you see how simple it is you will be laughing out loud. All we have to do is learn what the word Satan meant to the ancient writers....then the pieces start coming together on this ancient mis-understanding of what "a satan" is. And I don't need to tell you, the belief in a literal Satan has flourished for centuries in religion, so after we deal with this God-Satan conundrum don't stop exploring because there are hundreds of pieces to this ancient puzzle that can be explained. Email me for a copy of my book that explains everything you ever wanted to know about why Satan and hell are not real but you were afraid to ask.

So, you're a Christian and someone tells you there is no Satan...what do you think? Well if you're like most Christians you think the guy is a nut. Listen in on this interview with Saskatchewan's most popular radio host as John Gormley talks to Saskatchewan's most popular iconoclast. COMMENTS

Jim,

I have really enjoyed your broadcasts - you and Angela are just delightful.  It has been very challenging and it has really broadened my perspective.  I received your 2 books last week and will enjoy studying them.  If it hadn't been for the shows, however, I would never even considered reading such 'titles'.  I prefer to remain anonymous.

Thanks again. C******
